In the Heart of the Forest and Waterfalls
Walk through lush valleys and along levadas on this popular trail to the 25 Fontes in Rabaçal. Surrounded by the island’s native Laurissilva forest, the path takes you past waterfalls, mossy cliffs and shaded groves, offering a peaceful and immersive nature experience.
The highlight is the 25 natural springs flowing into a clear pool at the base of a cliff—a serene spot to rest before heading back. With its mix of greenery, water and gentle terrain, this walk is one of Madeira’s most rewarding for nature lovers.
