Walk the Edge of the Island, Your Way
Get dropped off at the start of the eastern peninsula trail and explore the striking volcanic landscape at your own pace. With dramatic cliffs, ocean views on both sides and a unique blend of wind-shaped terrain, this area offers a very different side of Madeira.
Walk as far as you like, take breaks along the way, and enjoy the freedom to set your own pace. When you’re done, return using your preferred transport method—bus, taxi or ride app.
